A quick pre run routine from a Physio
A Sydney based physio and running coach recommend these 4 warm up exercises.
Tight lower back?
Tight calves?
Tight hamstrings?
I was about to give up running a few weeks after I had just started back, because of my calves and lower back. A visit to my physio and he gave me the most innocuous-looking exercises and said trust me. :)
A few weeks later my calf tightness was gone and I was back running. I do these exercises when I get tight calves or SI Joint jams.
