Quote I love -
"Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts." – Winston Churchill
Life Mistakes
Looking back, many of my mistakes in life stemmed from one recurring theme: being in a hurry. In my eagerness to fast-track success, I often sought shortcuts and embraced bigger risks, hoping for bigger rewards. The cost? A detour that set me back nearly a decade.
Growing up, I wasn’t the most naturally gifted athlete. Yet, I managed to earn a fair share of awards and accolades. To outsiders, it may have seemed like I was simply better than the other kids. But what they didn’t see were the countless early morning runs and extra after-school training sessions. Week after week, year after year, I stayed consistent and put in the work.
Looking back now, I realize I should have applied this same patience and discipline to investing. Had I approached business and financial decisions with the same mindset I used in training, I’m confident the outcomes would have been very different.
The irony is striking. In training, I was patient and consistent, understanding that results take time. Yet in business and investing, I was in a constant rush, chasing the next big opportunity, distracted by shiny objects.
The lesson? True success—whether in athletics, business, or life—comes from embracing the long game. Shortcuts may seem tempting, but consistent effort and patience always win in the end. Today, Im very comfortable with the long game. Doing the small things day in day out, stacking bricks.
Consistency Pays Off.
One flashy, hard workout might look great on social media, but it won't lead to meaningful results. True progress comes from doing consistent, purposeful workouts over a long period of time. This approach doesn’t just deliver better results—it’s sustainable and helps prevent injuries in the long run.
Whether it’s in training or investing, the formula is the same: small, consistent actions, repeated over time, lead to sustainable growth. It might not be Instagram-worthy every day, but it’s the surest path to success.
Learn to love the process
We’ve all the heard the saying,“ Love the Process not the Outcome”. The process is where the magic happens. Stacking gym session on gym session, run on run, good eating day after day. This is where the magic happens. Do this for 6 months, and the results will speak for themself.
