Another one of my favorite sessions is 2 x 5 x 100m with 1 mins rest.
A great session for anyone trying to improve their fitness or speed.
This session can be applied to any sport as you can make it easier or harder by increasing or decreasing the speed.
Find an oval or a running track or just mark out 100m on a path.
Complete 2 x 5 x 100m at approximately 80% of your best 100m time.
For your average runner, this might be approximately 18-22 seconds. For someone with good fitness levels, this may be 15 seconds per 100m.
Rest for one minute at the same end and turn around and run back.
